STM32F103C8T6 / C6T6 Development Board
The STM32F103C8T6 is a mainstream Arm® Cortex®-M3 microcontroller from STMicroelectronics, running at up to 72 MHz with 64 KB Flash and 20 KB SRAM. Widely used in motor control, industrial automation, and consumer electronics — this Blue Pill-style development board is the ideal starting point for embedded development.
Key Specifications
- Core: Arm® 32-bit Cortex®-M3, up to 72 MHz
- Memory: 64 KB Flash / 20 KB SRAM (C8T6); 32 KB Flash / 10 KB SRAM (C6T6)
- Peripherals: 37 GPIOs, 2×12-bit ADC, USART, SPI, I²C, CAN, USB
- Package: LQFP48
- Supply Voltage: 2.0–3.6 V
Board Features
- Onboard USB connector (Micro / TYPE-C options available)
- Reset button and PC13 LED indicator
- SWD debug interface compatible with ST-Link V2
- Breadboard-friendly 2.54 mm pin pitch
- Optional: pins pre-soldered or unsoldered
Getting Started
Program and debug using STM32CubeIDE + STM32CubeMX (free official tools). Connect via ST-Link V2 through the SWD interface (SWDIO / SWCLK / GND / 3.3V). Configure clocks, GPIO, and peripherals graphically — then generate HAL code in minutes.
Common Issues & Tips
- Add 100 nF + 10 µF decoupling capacitors on each VDD pin for stable operation
- Verify SWDIO / SWCLK / GND / NRST wiring if ST-Link fails to connect
- Check PA11 / PA12 if USB is not recognized
