The TOP242GN from Power Integrations is a high-performance, integrated offline switcher IC from the TOPSwitch-GX family, designed for cost-effective, space-saving flyback power supply applications up to 15W. This surface-mount device combines a 700V power MOSFET, oscillator, high-voltage switched current source, current limit, and thermal shutdown circuitry on a single chip.
